Our latest GND poll asks the question:

Would Elimination of Gun Laws Reduce Gun Crime?

We are not asking if it will reduce crime in general, such as car thefts, rape, kidnappings etc. We are asking whether it will reduce gun crimes specifically. It is important to note the distinction because it may change the way you answer the question.

Gun crimes are defined as gun trafficking, gun thefts, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, murder etc.

Based on your answers over the next several weeks, we will formulate our next poll question(s) to drill down to exactly what our reader's viewpoints are the issue of gun laws. Once complete we will publish an analysis of the data to better provide an overall picture of the answers.

Obviously, this is not a random poll of the general public's gun rights viewpoints, but a poll none-the-less of people interested in reading news about gun rights and laws that may affect them. It will tell us where the gun rights community stands on their perception of gun laws.

Please participate in our poll. The more of you who take part, the more accurate the data.

All poll data is completely anonymous. We do not record, nor do we have the means to determine who participates, or even who logs on to our site at any given point for that matter. We are not in the business of collecting data from our readers behind the scenes with tracking software to scrape or pull information from your computer for any purpose, for any reason, at any time.
