A 31-year-old man from Panama City Beach is arrested for a stabbing and attempted armed robbery that took place on May 10, 2025. The incident began as a dispute over a Bluetooth speaker, which escalated into a physical confrontation where the suspect, Holden Devon Branch, allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene with the bicycle and speaker.
Emergency services responded promptly after the victim managed to reach a nearby business for help, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office later connected Branch to the crime and found him in possession of methamphetamine upon his arrest two days later. He now faces multiple charges, including Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
