Albany Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Teen Boy

A 15-year-old boy is shot and killed in Albany on Monday night, according to the Albany Police Department. Officers arrive at the scene near Clinton Avenue and North Lake Avenue around 11 P.M. and find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He is later pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center.

Authorities reveal that the victim and the alleged shooter appear to have known each other, raising questions about the nature of their relationship and the circumstances surrounding the incident. An active investigation is underway, and police urge anyone with information to contact the Albany Police Detective Division, emphasizing that tips can be submitted anonymously to Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
