Staff from the Archdiocese are currently finalizing logistics for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fr. Mike Murphy, a prominent figure in local efforts against gun violence, emphasizes that while gun buybacks are not a complete solution, they contribute to saving lives and fostering a culture of peace. The initiative has garnered over $100,000 in donations to support both the buyback program and the Archdiocese’s Grief Ministry for families affected by homicide.
