A man attempted to rob a Newmarket store last Thursday, aiming a gun at an employee and demanding cash, but left empty-handed after the employee did not comply. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near Davis Drive and George Street, and fortunately, no injuries were reported during the dramatic encounter.
Police describe the suspect as approximately 22 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a slim build and blue eyes, wearing a black mask, a black T-shirt, black pants, and white shoes. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in apprehending the suspect.
