The U.S. Army is gearing up to showcase an impressive array of military hardware valued at over $265 million during Saturday’s parade in Washington, D.C. This event will feature 28 M1A2 Abrams tanks, each costing around $5 million, as well as Bradley fighting vehicles and Stryker infantry carriers. These powerful machines are designed for front-line operations and demonstrate the Army’s significant combat capabilities.
Prior to the parade, soldiers conducted live-fire demonstrations at Fort Cavazos, Texas, illustrating the advanced technology and firepower of these vehicles. The parade, which runs along a one-mile route on Constitution Avenue, will see the tanks and armored vehicles move at a reduced speed of 3 mph to protect city infrastructure, allowing residents and visitors a closer look at America’s military might.
