An Aurora man was fatally shot in his apartment late Friday night, prompting a search for the gunman by local police. The victim was found by his downstairs neighbor after a loud commotion was heard around 10:15 p.m. and was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries early Saturday morning.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident and following leads, yet no arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
