Beach Park Fast Food Restaurant Targets Armed Robbery

Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives are currently investigating an armed robbery that took place at a fast food restaurant in Beach Park on Thursday evening. Authorities report that around 7:35 p.m., a suspect entered the establishment, brandished a knife, and demanded cash from the employees before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, likely between his late 20s and mid-30s, wearing all black clothing and a surgical mask. Following the incident, a sheriff’s canine unit attempted to track the suspect, leading officers to a nearby parking lot where he is believed to have entered a vehicle. Detectives urge anyone with information regarding this robbery to contact them via the Lake County Sheriff’s website or CrimeStoppers.
