More than 120,000 biometric gun safes are recalled after reports indicate they can be opened by unauthorized users, raising significant safety concerns. Among the alarming cases is a six-year-old boy who managed to access one of these safes, which contain potentially dangerous firearms.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced four separate recalls, which include products sold at major retailers such as Walmart and Amazon. Consumers are advised to stop using the biometric feature immediately and switch to key access to ensure firearms are stored securely until replacement safes are provided.
