A municipal court judge in Tupelo has denied bond for Javarius Trice, a Shannon man charged with armed robbery in connection to an incident that took place in mid-April. The robbery unfolded when the suspect allegedly held the victim and two others at gunpoint, demanding a firearm that was located in the victim’s vehicle.
Trice, who was arrested last Thursday with the aid of the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, was already on federal probation at the time of his arrest. His swift capture followed an investigation launched after the robbery was reported on April 22, raising serious concerns about repeated offenses and public safety in the community.
