A Brooklyn woman, Victoria Michelle Cyren Clarke, is sentenced to four years in prison for her involvement in an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store in Hyde County, North Carolina. On June 4, 2023, Clarke aided two armed individuals during the robbery, which resulted in the theft of over $2,000, and subsequently drove them from the scene in a getaway vehicle.
During the pursuit, which reached speeds exceeding 100 mph, two unrestrained children were found in Clarke’s vehicle. In a serious breach of public safety, it was revealed that she purchased the firearms used in the robbery and rented the getaway car.
