Charlotte Police Conduct Major Drug Bust in NoDa

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police recently executed an illegal firearms and drug trafficking bust on N. Davidson Street in the NoDa area, resulting in two arrests. The operation began with a routine traffic observation, leading officers to discover a handgun magazine and nearly a pound of suspected marijuana inside an unattended vehicle.

Upon apprehending the driver, officers recovered a firearm, approximately 1,522 grams of suspected marijuana, and $2,362 in cash. The investigation quickly expanded to include a second suspect, who was found with another firearm, around 2.5 pounds of suspected marijuana, and other controlled substances. This significant seizure underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and illegal firearms in the Charlotte area.
