Chicago police have released surveillance footage of two men wanted for their involvement in an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store in the South Shore neighborhood. The incident occurred on November 12, when three men entered the store shortly before 7:30 p.m., at least one brandishing a firearm and assaulting a security guard.
During the robbery, an unknown individual outside the store engaged in a gunfight, injuring a 60-year-old robber who was subsequently taken to the hospital in critical condition. One suspect wore a distinct white and blue New York Yankees varsity jacket, while the other was dressed in dark clothing adorned with a “Jordan” logo, raising concern among community members. Police urge anyone with information to contact them or submit anonymous tips as they work to bring those involved to justice.
