In a significant bust, California Highway Patrol officers arrested a suspect after discovering a large amount of cocaine and an unserialized Smith & Wesson revolver during a traffic stop in Oakland. The incident unfolded when officers approached a suspicious silver Infiniti SUV, prompting the driver to flee on foot, leading to a brief chase.
Upon detaining the individual, officers found multiple baggies of cocaine, as well as two digital scales, inside the vehicle.
