Comedy Fundraiser Aims to Heal Indianapolis Community

The Stop the Violence Comedy Fundraiser is set to light up Indianapolis with an evening of laughter on July 12, following a tragic outbreak of violence that left two children dead and several others injured over the July 4th weekend. This event, scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the 1DERFUL Bar & Grill, aims to uplift a community grappling with grief and fear, while also featuring a balloon release to honor the victims after the show.

Tickets for the comedy show are priced at $30 and will be available at the door, giving residents a chance to come together for a night of joy in otherwise perilous times. This fundraiser is not just about entertainment; it’s a vital community response to the ongoing crisis, highlighting the importance of support and solidarity among Indianapolis residents during this challenging period.
