Couple Sentenced for Drug Conspiracy in Madison County

Jessica Snyder, a 46-year-old from Canastota, receives a five-year federal prison sentence for her role in a drug distribution conspiracy that involved methamphetamine and a heroin/fentanyl mixture. She and her husband, Andrew Snyder, were found to have been operating from their home between October 2020 and May 2022, using firearms while unlawfully consuming controlled substances.

This case underscores the growing concern regarding illegal drug activity in the region, as both Snyders have been sentenced to five years in prison for their crimes. Following her release, Jessica is also mandated to serve an additional four years of supervised release, during which she must surrender her firearms and ammunition.
