The Columbia Police Department has arrested 21-year-old Noah Cooley, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on June 5 at the Vaper Maven store on Business Loop 70. Cooley faces serious charges including first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, with police detailing that he allegedly threatened a store employee with a gun during the incident.
After the robbery, in which Cooley is accused of making off with approximately $300 in cash and $500 in products, investigators used surveillance footage and a photo lineup to identify him as a suspect. He was apprehended in the 1000 block of Claudell Lane and is currently held at the Boone County Jail without bond, as the search for further details continues.
