Nicholas DeFelice, a 33-year-old from Montville, Connecticut, is sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison for operating an unlicensed firearm manufacturing business. An investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) revealed that DeFelice produced and sold over 200 firearms since 2013, targeting both individual customers and licensed dealers through his operation named “DeFelice Defense.”

His illegal activities culminated in his arrest on July 12, 2023, and he now faces two years of supervised release following his prison term.
