Brighton police are investigating a tragic double shooting that left two people dead in an alley behind a home on North 7th Avenue Wednesday evening. The victims, whose identities have not yet been revealed, were discovered around 6:20 p.m. after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots followed by a dark-colored sedan speeding away from the scene.
As of Thursday morning, authorities have not identified any suspects nor made any arrests, leading to ongoing inquiries into the shooting. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the names of the victims at a later date. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident to reach out to them, highlighting the community’s role in solving this case.
