Federal Way Reports Two Fatal Shootings in One Day

Police in Federal Way, Washington, are investigating two separate fatal shootings that occurred on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The first incident unfolded at Uptown Square Apartments around 4:20 p.m., where a man in his 20s was shot dead, witnesses reporting that the suspect fired shots at others before fleeing the scene.

The second shooting took place late that evening near Southwest 120th Street, claiming the life of a 34-year-old Hispanic male. Authorities have indicated that while a person of interest has been identified in this case, the two shootings are not related. Federal Way police urge anyone with information to contact them directly.
