Five Suspects Sought in Windsor Jewelry Store Robbery

Windsor police are on the hunt for five suspects after an attempted armed robbery at a jewelry store in downtown Windsor. The incident unfolded on Saturday afternoon when a woman, posing as a customer, allowed four masked men armed with weapons to enter the store, only for the suspects to flee empty-handed when the alarm was triggered.

Surveillance footage has been released, capturing the suspects as they escaped in a stolen 2022 white BMW M3. The first suspect is a Black female, approximately 20 to 25 years old, while the others are Black males of similar age and build, all described as wearing black masks and clothing. The police urge anyone with information to contact the Windsor Police Service’s major crimes unit or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
