Framingham Police have arrested 32-year-old Daniel Feeney following a domestic disturbance that escalated into a police investigation late last night. Officers responded to a fight report at the intersection of Concord St and Union Ave, and upon their arrival, they established probable cause leading to Feeney’s subsequent arrest in the police station’s parking lot.
A search revealed an unloaded .22 caliber revolver and a small quantity of a Class E controlled substance in Feeney’s possession. He now faces charges for domestic assault and battery, illegal firearm possession, and drug possession, contributing to a worrying trend as this marks the police department’s third recovery of an illegally held firearm in just over a week.
