Goldsboro Man Gets 21.5 Years for Armed Robbery

Fremandeus Connell Williams, a 45-year-old member of the United Blood Nation gang, receives a sentence of 21 years and six months for an armed robbery at the Hot Spot Internet Cafe in Wilson. On December 7, 2021, Williams, while posing as a customer, brandished a firearm and threatened an employee, demanding cash as he stole $7,039 from the establishment.

Williams was apprehended just days later on December 10, 2021, after federal prosecutors linked him to the crime through their investigation. His sentencing is part of a broader effort to combat gang violence and protect local communities in North Carolina, raising questions about the ongoing challenges posed by gang-related crimes in the area.
