A 32-year-old Greenfield man, Anthony J. Badali, faces serious felony charges after his arrest on June 13 for possessing child pornography and illegal firearms. His arrest followed a detailed investigation initiated by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, leading to the execution of a search warrant at his residence where police discovered multiple images associated with child sexual exploitation and two illegal firearms.
Badali is charged with promoting and possessing sexual performances by a child, as well as multiple counts of criminal possession of weapons. Authorities not only seized firearms but also found an improperly possessed high-capacity magazine during the search. He is currently held in Saratoga County Jail on a $5,000 cash bail or equivalent bond, raising significant concerns about community safety and the ongoing threats posed by such illegal activities.
