A Grifton man, Joel Dajuan Swindell, 31, is facing serious legal consequences after law enforcement conducted a search of his home on Creek Shore Drive, uncovering heroin and firearms. Swindell is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of firearms by a felon, among other offenses.
Following his arrest, Swindell was taken to the magistrate’s office where he received a secured bond of $750,000 and is currently in custody.
