An investigation triggered by a package at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport results in the seizure of three handguns and a significant stash of illegal drugs. The incident began on November 2, 2024, when an intercepted package containing a suspected firearm led authorities to discover a Glock 9 mm handgun disguised in the delivery, and further inquiries took them to a residence in North York where additional firearms and 1.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine were recovered.
This operation culminated in the arrest of a 22-year-old Toronto man on May 16, 2025, who now faces numerous charges including firearms trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
