In an unusual twist during a routine arrest, detectives discovered two handguns hidden inside a giant teddy bear at a McKees Rocks residence. The arrest of 27-year-old Terry Purdue comes as he faces multiple bench warrants related to probation violations and a history of gun and drug offenses.
Investigation details reveal that after Purdue’s apprehension, detectives conducted a search of the property where they found the first gun while moving the oversized toy. A subsequent search warrant led to the discovery of a second firearm reported stolen, alongside suspected heroin and marijuana. Purdue is now facing serious charges in addition to his existing warrants, raising questions about the concealed weapons and their connection to ongoing criminal activities.
