High Prairie Gun Show Set to Attract Thousands

The 22nd annual High Prairie Gun and Sportsman Show is poised to draw thousands of attendees on April 26-27, featuring more than 150 exhibitors across three venues. Darrell Basarab, the event’s organizing committee chair, highlights the excitement this year, noting a record demand with a waiting list of over 20 exhibitors eager to join.

Visitors can explore a wide array of outdoor gear, from hunting and fishing equipment to all-terrain vehicles and crafts. The event promises a community atmosphere, including a popular gun raffle featuring three firearms and a banquet to honor sponsors. Last year’s show attracted over 5,000 attendees, solidifying its reputation as one of the largest events of its kind in northern Alberta.
