Elijah Franklin Sr., a 28-year-old man from Houma, is arrested on multiple felony charges linked to a disturbing domestic violence investigation. The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report on June 24, where a victim alleged that Franklin threatened her with a firearm, held her against her will, and inflicted severe physical abuse.
During the investigation, deputies uncovered horrific details from multiple victims, including being beaten with a handgun and stabbed with a fork. Notably, six minors witnessed the abuse, raising serious concerns about their safety. Franklin now faces charges including Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Domestic Abuse with Child Endangerment, and remains held on a $700,000 bond, as the investigation continues with the likelihood of additional charges.
