The driver, identified as 29-year-old Edrick Acosta-Ramos, was pulled over in a joint enforcement operation targeting gun violence, highlighting ongoing public safety efforts in the region.
Upon stopping Acosta-Ramos for a traffic violation, officers utilized a K9 unit, which alerted them to the vehicle, leading to the discovery of the firearm and drugs.
