Authorities in Lancaster, S.C., have arrested 40-year-old Alexis Rodriguez in connection with an armed robbery at the Jones Crossroads grocery store, which occurred on April 8. Surveillance footage from a family member’s nearby home helped police identify Rodriguez as the suspect, and he was taken into custody without incident.
Rodriguez faces multiple charges including armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, along with methamphetamine possession. While he received a $10,000 bond on the drug charge, he has been denied bond for the more serious allegations. Remarkably, there were no injuries reported during the robbery, shedding light on the tense yet non-violent nature of this incident.
