A 37-year-old man is charged with attempted criminal homicide after allegedly attempting to shoot a facility worker in Old Hickory, Tennessee. According to the police report, Justin Miller approached the worker, demanding his gun before a physical struggle broke out, during which Miller took control of the firearm.
In a shocking turn of events, Miller pressed the gun to the victim’s head and pulled the trigger; however, the weapon’s safety was engaged, preventing a shot from firing. The victim managed to escape to his vehicle as Miller fired twice at him, prompting law enforcement to intervene swiftly and arrest Miller without incident.
