Two men, including the owner of the Alamo nightclub, face multiple charges after a significant law enforcement operation targeting drug and illegal alcohol sales in Charleston County. Benjamin Reyna-Flores, 59, is charged with unlicensed alcohol sales, while Terone Lavince Lawson, 44, faces drug possession and firearm charges linked to a raid that resulted in about 80 arrests under “Operation Last Stand.”
The massive sting operation, conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, uncovered a range of illicit activities, including the alleged possession of methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms, along with firearms. As discussions in the community intensify regarding the involvement of Homeland Security in local law enforcement, both men are now being held in the Charleston County Detention Center as their cases move forward for prosecution.
