A man held at gunpoint inside a Miami-Dade mobile home escapes to a nearby Family Dollar, prompting deputies to arrest two suspects involved in the incident. The victim reported being tied up and threatened by armed individuals, including 26-year-old Helen Arias-Lima, during a robbery that unfolded on April 9.
After managing to free himself, the victim alerted store employees who called 911. Investigators identified Arias-Lima and accomplice John Luis Torres-Rodriguez, 20, as suspects following the victim’s description and evidence linking them to the crime. Arias-Lima is now facing serious charges, including armed robbery and false imprisonment, while being held without bond in jail.
