Miami Police are investigating a tragic double shooting at the Del Toro Insurance office that took place early Monday morning, which authorities believe may be a murder-suicide. Officers found a man and a woman with fatal gunshot wounds shortly after receiving the emergency call just after 8 a.m. Unfortunately, both individuals succumbed to their injuries before medical assistance could arrive.
Miami Police Captain Freddie Cruz noted that the man and woman were the only individuals present in the building at the time of the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest that the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself, but the nature of their relationship remains unclear. As detectives continue their inquiries, they reassure the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
