Minors Charged in Separate Lancaster Robbery Incidents

Three minors, ages 12 and 13, along with an adult, are charged with robbery and multiple weapons offenses following two separate incidents in Lancaster city. A 12-year-old boy is accused of threatening two girls with a realistic-looking BB gun during a park robbery, while another case involves two juveniles discovered with cash, marijuana, and a firearm during a police response to a reported fight.

In the latter incident, investigators located the minors and found a Smith and Wesson firearm alongside heroin and crack cocaine in the home. The 12-year-old faces serious charges including carrying a firearm without a license, while an adult connected to the minors is also charged with unlawful firearm possession. These alarming events have raised concerns in the community about youth involvement in crime and the accessibility of weapons.
