New Kensington Man Faces New Charges for Armed Robbery

Trey Bell, a New Kensington man already incarcerated for a December armed robbery of a T-Mobile store, is now facing additional charges linked to an armed theft at an AT&T store in Tarentum. In the latest incident, Bell allegedly forced his way into the store, brandished a firearm, and ordered employees to restrain themselves with zip ties, making off with approximately $47,000 in merchandise, including cell phones and smart watches.

Authorities were able to connect Bell to the crime through DNA evidence collected from the vehicle he was driving at the time. This most recent charge adds to Bell’s growing list of criminal offenses, which include his previous arrest alongside an accomplice for a similar robbery in Ohio. The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office emphasizes the seriousness of these charges as they move forward with the case.
