A recently surfaced video captures suspect Tremaine Jones just minutes before he ambushes two Milwaukee police officers, resulting in one officer’s fatal shooting. The footage shows Jones walking down the street with a rifle, shouting threats, and escalating tensions that prosecutors say stemmed from a dispute involving two groups of women over his involvement.
The chilling recording not only highlights Jones’s aggressive behavior but also details the moments leading to the tragic incident. Officers Kendall Corder and Christopher McCray were responding to a 911 call when they were attacked from the bushes, with Corder ultimately succumbing to his injuries. Investigators found the rifle at the scene with Jones’s thumbprint and a backpack containing personal identification. He remains in custody with a $500,000 bond as the investigation continues.
