NYC Subway Suspect Drops Gun, Falls Down Stairs

In a surprising turn of events at a Brooklyn subway station, 39-year-old Stanley Spencer accidentally drops a loaded Ruger pistol in front of two patrolling officers. The incident occurred last week at the Pennsylvania Avenue Station, where Spencer attempted to adjust the firearm in his waistband, leading to its dramatic fall just as he exited a train.

After dropping the gun, Spencer fled the scene but soon lost his footing and fell down a flight of stairs. Officers managed to apprehend him shortly after, discovering he had attempted to hide the weapon under a nearby car. The loaded firearm, which contained seven bullets, led to charges of gun possession, marking yet another notable event in the city’s ongoing efforts to address firearm-related incidents in its subway system.
