Morgan Hill Police shot a man early Saturday morning at a Safeway grocery store after he allegedly assaulted another individual. The suspect, 40-year-old Shaun Hillman from Van Nuys, was confronted by officers responding to reports of a disturbance at the store on 840 E. Dunne Avenue.
During the incident, police found a victim who had been attacked by Hillman, prompting officers to use their firearms. Hillman was injured but is reportedly in stable condition, and he is facing multiple felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest. Notably, no officers were injured during this confrontation.
