New York State Police have arrested Karrim Bouchet, a 25-year-old from Rochester, for allegedly robbing an AT&T store in the Town of Hopewell. Police report that Bouchet entered the store, threatened employees with a gun, and demanded access to the safe, from which he stole more than $15,000 in cell phones and accessories.
Law enforcement swiftly acted, apprehending Bouchet within two hours of the robbery in Waterloo. He faces serious charges, including robbery in the first degree and grand larceny in the third degree, and is currently held on a $5,000 cash bail and a $10,000 bond.
