A Rocky Mount man, Kaleb Joseph Coppage, is sentenced to 18 years and two months in federal prison for armed robberies at two convenience stores in late 2023. During the incidents, Coppage brandished an AR-style pistol, stealing over $2,800 from a Dollar General and around $60 from a Circle K.
Law enforcement tracked Coppage down using a GPS tracker hidden in the stolen cash bag, leading to a high-speed chase that ended when he crashed his vehicle.
