San José Police have arrested 19-year-old Yonatan Petros, charging him with armed robbery and assault related to an incident that occurred on East San Carlos Street in late January. Petros, who is believed to be one of two suspects, allegedly threatened a victim with a firearm and stole thousands of dollars.
During the investigation, police discovered an unregistered firearm at Petros’s residence, leading to his booking at the Santa Clara County Main Jail. The other suspect remains unidentified and at large, prompting the police to seek public assistance in gathering information about the robbery and any similar occurrences.
