San Rafael Police Arrest Teens for Armed Robbery

San Rafael police arrest two teenagers linked to an armed robbery that occurred on a bike path near Highway 101. The incident, which took place around 7 p.m. Monday, involved a 16-year-old suspect who faces multiple charges, including armed robbery and possession of a concealed firearm.

Authorities recovered stolen property and a loaded, unserialized handgun hidden behind a tree near the arrest site at Fourth and Hetherton streets. Investigators are also searching for a third individual believed to have been involved in the crime, as both suspects were booked into Marin County Juvenile Hall.
