Second Suspect Arrested in Brockport Bank Heist

A second suspect, 60-year-old Michael O’Shea from Rochester, is charged with first-degree robbery and grand larceny in connection with a recent armed robbery at the M&T Bank on Fourth Section Road. The robbery, which occurred on April 7, saw the first suspect, John Savage, allegedly holding bank employees at gunpoint while demanding cash, ultimately fleeing with more than $452,600.

Authorities arrested Savage last week and found evidence of the robbery nearby. Both suspects face serious charges, with O’Shea remanded to jail on a cash bail of $50,000 following his arraignment. This case raises significant concerns about safety in local banking establishments and the escalating risks of armed robberies.
