Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with a brazen burglary at Sportsmen’s Outpost in Wolcott, Connecticut, where they allegedly rammed a stolen vehicle into the shop to make off with nine firearms. Among the arrested are three teens, all Bristol residents, who now face multiple charges, including burglary and theft conspiracy; police suggest the teens intended to sell the stolen weapons. Four adults are also implicated as accomplices, charged with offenses including illegal transfer of firearms and tampering with evidence. Bristol Police Chief Edward Stephens notes that these teens have a troubling history of similar crimes, raising concerns about their potential prosecution as adults due to the serious nature of the offense. The investigation remains active, and the police have successfully recovered eight of the nine stolen guns.
