The Savannah Police Department has arrested a juvenile suspect linked to two attempted armed robberies that occurred on Wednesday. The incidents unfolded at commercial establishments in the 700 block of Stephenson Avenue and the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive, demonstrating a concerning trend in local crime.
Police initially responded to a call at a CVS store, where the armed suspect fled the scene. Shortly thereafter, the same individual attempted another robbery at Savannah RX but was apprehended by officers. He has been taken into custody at the Chatham County Regional Youth Detention Center, and the investigation continues as authorities seek additional information from the public.
