Greater Sudbury Police arrest four individuals on Van Horne Street after responding to reports of armed individuals in a park. The officers apprehended the suspects without incident and confiscated three pellet guns, brass knuckles, knives, and a significant amount of suspected fentanyl, crack, and cocaine.
During the search, police also seized $1,395 in cash. The arrested individuals—John Byck, 48; Harley-Lynn Sampson, 29; Misty Plume, 46; and Vincent Marconato, 43—face multiple charges, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and drug trafficking. Plume and Marconato are additionally charged for violating weapons prohibitions, highlighting ongoing concerns about community safety and drug-related crimes.
