Authorities in San Diego are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven in the City Heights area earlier this year. The incident, which occurred on March 8, involved the assailant brandishing a knife, punching an employee, and fleeing with merchandise after unsuccessfully attempting to access the cash register.
The suspect is described as a man between the ages of 25 and 30, last seen wearing black shorts and a black hoodie, along with shoes resembling the Nike Air Max 97. In a bid to encourage information leading to an arrest, San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for tips that help solve this case. Authorities are urging anyone with leads to contact the SDPD’s Robbery Unit or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line.
