Suspect Threatens Trooper at Home, Police Seek Help

Tacoma police detectives are actively searching for a suspect who allegedly threatened a Washington State Patrol trooper at his home while pointing what appeared to be a gun at a surveillance camera. This brazen incident occurred on Monday, April 7, directly in front of the trooper’s residence, which had a marked patrol vehicle parked in the driveway at the time.

The suspect is wanted for felony harassment, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips leading to the suspect’s arrest and prosecution, raising concern over the unsettling nature of the threat against law enforcement.
